quote-a-kid

we haven't done one of these in a while, and i was wracking my brain this week, trying to remember all the hilarious things the brood has said that i managed to completely forget.
then annika (4 years old) walked up to me in the kitchen last night as i was doing dishes.

this is totally verbatim:

'mom, if you were lost, i'd search for you for 400 years.'
aww, how sweet, right... and then before i could dry my hands and turn around and tell her i'd do the same for her, she went on:
'and if you were buried alive, i'd dig for you.'

... such love.

and, in her honor, we made this, my new motto:

three cheers for unconventional expressions of love.
